Making London a better place for our precious and essential pollinators.
Enhancing green spaces on London where all natural pollinators can thrive, and their habitats can be enjoyed by all.
PLT was created with a specific mission: Saving urban pollinators by enhancing green spaces for the benefit of all.
The longer-term vision is to create a template for change and action through leadership that can be implemented in urban environments across the UK.

Founded in 2020 by the Worshipful Companies of Wax Chandlers and Gardeners, PLT began as a collaboration within the City of London’s livery companies.
Today, it has grown into a thriving community, uniting livery companies, business, schools and other organisations to raise awareness of pollinator decline and drive positive action across the city.

PLT engages in a variety of activities to raise awareness, educate, and influence action that will help pollinators and their habitats thrive. Example activities include a green space habitat review programme, events to raise awareness about pollinators and the importance of biodiversity, and providing a resource library to take pollinator-friendly action.

PLT is so vital. With the support of livery companies and the City of London Corporation, PLT has already achieved a great deal in its short life.
